Kladis Building Solutions in the Community
Kladis Building Solutions are committed to creating a
positive impact in the society. Through support and sponsorship
of chosen charities we are contributing to a better world.
Some of our chosen charities include
ESTIA Foundation of Australia
ESTIA'S MISSION STATEMENT:
To improve the opportunities for people with
disabilities; to meaningfully integrate and participate
in the life of the community and to provide the assistance
and support that such people, their families and carers,
may individually require to achieve this outcome.
ESTIA Foundation is an initiative of the Greek Orthodox
Archdiocese of Australia.
This foundation was set up to provide 24 hour care for
young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.
This service is open to all people residing in Sydney with
respite houses available at Roselands and Gladesville.
ESTIA operates a weekend daycare program providing outings
and activities that include music, dancing, art and craft,
attending sporting activities and shopping. Recently ESTIA
achieved another milestone by providing permanent accommodation
for those in need.
To be able to keep providing these important services
with continuous improvement ESTIA needs help. At present
this wonderful foundation is funded by the State Government
of NSW and also relies heavily on fundraising and donation.
Kladis Building Solutions is a proud sponsor of ESTIA.

Mick Young Scholarship Trust
Kladis Building Solutions is a proud sponsor of the Mick
Young Scholarship Trust. MYST was established in 1997 and
ten years on it continues to flourish. This is a wonderful
initiative which annually awards scholarships to students
studying at TAFE, universities and colleges across Australia.
This is the only fund in Australia to give awards depending
on financial need rather than academic achievements.
The Mick Young Scholarship Trust was set up in memory
of the late Mick Young, a former Member of Parliament and
Federal Cabinet Minister, who sought to enhance opportunities
for financially disadvantaged people. He came from a battler’s
background and knew that for some just a few hundred dollars
can make the following of their dream possible.
Mick Young had an abiding belief: “Education
is a right, not a privilege.” He knew that
it was vital “to break the cycle of unemployment
and disadvantage that can restrict a person’s potential”. “Break
that cycle”, Mick would say, “and an individual’s
place in the community will almost certainly be transformed.”
In the first year, MYST distributed $11,000 to 3 colleges
and this year is planning to expand to 30 colleges and
distribute $200,000 in scholarships across Australia. MYST
encompasses areas as diverse as the Pilbera and Kimberley
regions, Batchelor and Alice Springs, Rockhampton and Mt
Isa as well as many other rural centres and, of course,
all the capitals.
If you are interested in making a difference and donating
to this worthy initiative you can contact MYST Event Manager
Janine Young on 0422 371 706.

Mascot Juniors Rugby League Club Football Club
Founded in 1910 Mascot JRLFC is widely acknowledged as
the oldest Junior League Club in Australia. With 34 teams
